The Emergency Medical Services minor is ideal for undergraduate students enrolled in a science or pre-health professional undergraduate degree program of study who are also looking for additional clinically focused study. This program requires certification as an EMT to enroll and builds on that certification through additional EMS core content course work. Through the EMS internship course, minor students will have the opportunity to use their skills to gain valuable clinical experience making their foundational science or pre-health professional degree more relevant and providing students with employable skills on the day of graduation.
