Course Description
This course is designed as a general survey of the criminal justice system in the United States. We begin with a general discussion of the goals, historical development, and transformation of the justice system over time. With this foundation, the course proceeds with an in-depth examination of the constituent parts of the criminal justice process from policing to corrections.
