Course Description

Studies canonical works of 20th and 21st century Asian Anglophone literature across genres. The course will situate these literatures in relation to the broader rubrics of postcolonial, diasporic, and global Anglophone literatures. Selected texts to include works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and drama. Other course materials to include theory, film, and television.
